Jasmine and Nelson are one of the most genuinely kind couples that I have met. They are also one of my many couples that have decided to create their wedding album including their engagement photos in addition to the photos from the wedding day. For their engagements ession, we were able to have a beautifully dramatic and clear afternoon at the Griffith Observatory (2800 E Observatory Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90027). The e-session really was a great opportunity for Jasmine and Nelson to get to know my shooting style and how I work, and also vice versa. From their engagement photo session I got a better sense of each of their personality and preferred styles, and I know that it’ll be a real advantage to me come the wedding day 🙂
For their wedding day we kicked off the day with family and bridal portraits at the Pasadena City Hall (100 N Garfield Ave, Pasadena, CA 91101). This is what I really appreciate about my couples, they scheduled approximately 2 hours for the session so that we had plenty of time for the portraits that we planned for and also enough time for some of the family that was stuck in traffic. Also, photo sessions at the Pasadena City Hall really is one of my favorite locations. Large enough for big groups photos with bridal party and families, yet it has so many amazing spots for intimate portrats just for the bride and groom. For Nelson and Jasmine, we were so fortunate to even get a couple of sweet photos with the setting sun behind them! Finally, their wedding circular wedding ceremony and festive wedding reception were held under the sparkling decor of the Anoush Banquet Hall.
