I have the bestest couples. Period.

I’ve photographed weddings for George’s family for close to a decade! Jinny and Mike‘s wedding back in 2007, Lily and Jason‘s wedding in 2008, Shan and Matt‘s wedding in 2010, and this time, I’m commissioned to photograph George and Eileen’s big day! For now, we got their engagement session taken care of and looking forward to the wedding in the coming months.

Before we decided on what to do for the engagement session we threw around all the typical ideas of a Santa Monica or Laguna Beach e-session, Downtown Los Angeles, Pasadena City Hall, or somewhere with a scenic view. But none of those ideas really clicked with them. Few weeks before the session I got an email from Eileen:

Hello!

I hope this email finds you well! We are getting close to that time! We would like to set up a time to do our engagement photos, only they won’t be like real engagement photos! Hahahah.

This is what we had in mind! We would like for you to come down to the restaurant and just take pictures of us here! We really want to go for a more relaxed feel. HAHAHAH

I LOVED IT! And you can see the end result of what we got. I honestly think this is exactly what they had in mind. Relaxed, comfortable, and with a couple of HAHA’s :P! Just them them in their everyday environment! I gotta say that this may be the most organic photo session for me in a long time. Thank you guys for having me and I’m looking forward to more fun on your wedding day.
