This wedding took place at 2 of my favorite venues. The 1st was the Los Angeles Arboretum and the 2nd was the San Gabriel Hilton. I just love how many different looks I can get everytime I’m photography either an engagement session or wedding at the Arboretum in Arcadia next to the newly remodeled Westfield Santa Anita Mall. Also, the San Gabriel Hilton has so many little gems for getting awesome photographs it’s ridiculous! On top of all of that, Daniel and Mouy are like all my other awesome clients….they TRUST me to do do my job and gives me so much freedom to do what I do best! I also had the pleasure of having an awesomely-super-over-qualified 2nd photographer, Mr. Doug McNamee of DMC Studio so this is almost like a dream wedding for me
I currently am using an image from this wedding as my facebook fan page’s profile picture. Love it!

Redondo Beach Historic Library is an amazing location. I always enjoy photographing weddings at venues that are close to the beach and the Historic Library in Redondo Beach was no exception! Jen and Leo has had friends that I was the wedding photographer for and also we are all from the same high school…(GO Temple City Rams!) so they were completely trusting of my style of photography and let me do my thing! I had an absolute blast shooting this wedding and I had the pleasure of doing it with the amazing Doug McNamee of DMC Studio and also my partner (yeah, not that kind….) in our “TiltnShift” photography workshops. I just LOVE IT whenever I get the opportunity to photograph a wedding with a fellow photographer because we always feed off of each other’s creativity and the end result is visible in the images!

Our next wedding adventure brings us to Pasadena. We were all over Pasadena! We were at the Westin Hotel, the Pasadena Museum of California Art, charming Old Town Pasadena, and even Pasadena City Hall! This was Daphne and Kent’s big day. These two may look familiar to some of you because I also took their engagement pictures. Also on a side-note, Daphne and my wife were friends from high school! I was lucky to have had the pleasure of being their wedding photographer.
To start off the day, Daphne and Kent got ready at the Westin located in Downtown Pasadena. Here we met up with the amazing videographer Yaz Kim from WHSY Enterntainment (check out some of his work, after the break). Assisted with my second shooter, Kalen, we photographed the happy couple getting ready for their ceremony. After everyone was prepped and ready to go, we headed over to the Pasadena Museum of California Art. Some parts and angles of this place may also look familiar because this is where they had their engagement session! Daphne and Kent had their wedding inside an art museum! How cool is that?! They only invited their family and closest friends. After their ceremony, we took some pictures of the bride and groom with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. After an hour or so of shooting at the PMCA, we brought the cute newlyweds to Old Town Pasadena. We got some photos of Daphne and Kent with the charming town in the background. Their reception was held at the charming Rococo Room at the Cafe Santorini. The reception was a blast. Everyone was having fun. There was dancing and fun games to keep the guests entertained. We captured the fun moments the couple had during their awesome reception. After the reception was over we headed to the historic Pasadena City Hall. We got some AWESOME night shots.
Daphne and Kent’s wedding was a blast. Thanks Daphne and Kent for allowing me to photograph your important day. I had so much fun!

Steve and MyLinh’s wedding was so cool to me partly because of how they met. And all I have to say is what happens in Vegas certainly does NOT stay in Vegas (score for Steve)! But if they didn’t disclose that bit of information I bet no one would have guesses that’s how they hooked up. I think I got lazy previously (what a surprise…right) and skipped posting their e-session pictures on the blog because I tried to find the link and link it to this post but to my disappointment it doesn’t exist, but I’ll just blame it on the blog switch and say that somehow it got lost in the transition
.
Ok, back to the wedding at hand. Steve got ready at the San Gabriel Hilton where they later had their wedding ceremony and I had the privilege to have the talented and long haired Kalen of Kalenology (or whatever name he decides on for his business…) shoot the guys while they got ready and departed to MyLinh’s home to do the tea ceremony. When you scroll down, you will see a random picture of his bestman sticking his hand out the sunroof of the limo so let me explain this weird story for you folks and let it be a lesson to all of you who will be riding in limos. While the limo was driving, the bestman decided that they wanted a bit more air coming in so he reached up to the sun/moon roof and adjusted it where the back tilted up. But I guess the limo was driving a bit fast on the freeway and the wind caught the sun/moon roof and ripped it off the limo’s roof and came crashing down on the freeway behind them. Luckily it was a Saturday morning so there wasn’t too many cars on the road so no other cars were involved, but as if this was not bizarre enough, when the limo drive realized what had happened, he knew exactly how much it would cost to replace that to the penny! So it may be a setup to get a few more $$ out of the people from the sneaky limo company….?

Ya, did I just stray away from the wedding pictures again? Sorry.
Go ahead and scroll down to see some of the pictures from this wedding. I’ve gotta say that MyLinh looked super stunning and Steve was looking amazingly sharp as well so my best wishes to the good looking couple! (uh…i can’t wait to finish your album guys…:))
