This wedding took place at 2 of my favorite venues.  The 1st was the Los Angeles Arboretum and the 2nd was the San Gabriel Hilton.  I just love how many different looks I can get everytime I’m photography either an engagement session or wedding at the Arboretum in Arcadia next to the newly remodeled Westfield Santa Anita Mall.  Also, the San Gabriel Hilton has so many little gems for getting awesome photographs it’s ridiculous!  On top of all of that, Daniel and Mouy are like all my other awesome clients….they TRUST me to do do my job and gives me so much freedom to do what I do best!  I also had the pleasure of having an awesomely-super-over-qualified 2nd photographer, Mr. Doug McNamee of DMC Studio so this is almost like a dream wedding for me

I currently am using an image from this wedding as my facebook fan page’s profile picture.  Love it!

Redondo Beach Historic Library is an amazing location.  I always enjoy photographing weddings at venues that are close to the beach and the Historic Library in Redondo Beach was no exception!  Jen and Leo has had friends that I was the wedding photographer for and also we are all from the same high school…(GO Temple City Rams!) so they were completely trusting of my style of photography and let me do my thing!  I had an absolute blast shooting this wedding and I had the pleasure of doing it with the amazing Doug McNamee of DMC Studio and also my partner (yeah, not that kind….) in our “TiltnShift” photography workshops.  I just LOVE IT whenever I get the opportunity to photograph a wedding with a fellow photographer because we always feed off of each other’s creativity and the end result is visible in the images!

I was blessed to be the wedding photographer for Aimee and Dan’s wedding. They had a picked the beautiful Japanese garden at the La Canada Flintridge’s Descanso Gardens for their portrait session with their wedding party. I was already totally excited to be photographing at such a scenic location, but when Aimee and the rest of her girls arrived in thier stretch limo, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had awesome props as well!  So I had to get those in my shots!  After a few hours of shooting at the Descanso Gardens, they had their beautiful church ceremony in Los Angeles and then headed off to NBC restaurant in Monterey Park for their reception.  Please scroll down to check out their festive day!  Oh, and if you were a guest at this party and would like to see ALL of the images, go ahead and click HERE to login and see everything!

I had the pleasure of being Aimee and Dan’s wedding photographer. They are a referral couple from a couple who had me photograph their wedding a few years ago!  Thanks so much…I love referrals!  Aimee and Dan arranged a beautiful portrait bridal session at the Japanese garden inside Descanso Gardens at La Canada Flintridge (where the Station fire is currently burning…!) and I love photographing weddings at the Descanso gardens! It was also a super pleasant opportunity for me because all 14 people in their bridal party (7 groomsmen and 7 bridesmaids) + Uncle CJ was so easy to work with and we had some excellent outdoor garden photos. I’m just going through some of them right now and could not resist posting at least this ONE shot. My fav so far!

I had the pleasure of being the wedding photographer for Uyen & Ronnie’s wedding.  They had a beautiful outdoor garden wedding planned at the Los Angeles County Arboretum, and it went off without a hitch!  I was totally looking forward to shooting at the LA Arboretum in Arcadia since I had such a great time at Jinny and Mike’s wedding there as well.  Their outdoor wedding  had magnificent clouds that looked amazing in their wedding photos.  But before we headed over to the Arboretum in Arcadia for their wedding ceremony, they arranged a traditional tea ceremony at Uyen’s home in the Inland Empire.  I just love all the vibrant colors involved in the morning tea ceremony!  Enjoy the beautiful wedding photos from their traditional tea ceremony and outdoor garden wedding below.
