I can tell you that when we first booked Pop and Annie’s wedding we had no idea that their engagement photo session was going to required nearly 6 hours of driving round trip! But how can I resist being able to photograph their engagement photo session at a vineyard just outside of Solvang, CA. I remember visiting that Danish themed little town once when I was in the fifth grade that time my family took a road trip to San Francisco, so I was really excited to be able to have such a fun and colorful couple to photograph there! And you can see the result from our roadtrip below…
We had the pleasure of photographing the engagement session photos for Terence and Emily in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. We had our session at the Disney Concert Hall, Music Center, Arts District, and even at a Starbucks! Emily and Terence had a hard time deciding where to have their e-session photography a few months before their wedding. When I asked what is something that they do together frequently and something that their friends would think it’s “SO YOU GUYS” they both said Starbucks! Then we discussed having some night shots at the water fountains of the music center then the location was set! The rest you can see below:

Victoria Beach is a beautiful gem hidden in Laguna Beach. The Pirate Tower at the Victoria Beach made for a stunning backdrop for part 2 of Ella and Alan’s Pre-wedding and Engagement Photo session.

The McCoy Equestrian Center in Chino Hills was the perfect setting for this rustic themed wedding decor and it was a result of the combined hard work of all the bridal party and friends. According to my assistant, Azusa, this wedding’d be a huge hit on Pinterest…something about all the rustic awesome-ness that is this wedding! For me, the combination of their hard work, beautiful people, and amazingly dreamy light made it yet another unforgettable wedding that I am blessed enough to have photograph and document. It just seems like I keep seeing Veronica and Sal these past few weeks… They were part of Minerva & Jesse‘s bridal party and now on their big day, both Jesse and Minerva were a part of Veronica and Sal’s bridal party as well! LOVE IT!
Thank you again for having me photograph your beautiful wedding celebration, I am truly honored!

There are many popular locations for pre-wedding and engagement sessions that I’ve photographed for my wedding couples. Those include but definitely not limited to Pasadena City Hall, Downtown LA, Santa Monica Beach and Pier, Laguna Beach, LACMA and the list goes on! After my session at the Mission Inn Hotel and Spa in Riverside with Ella and Alan the Mission Inn definitely will be one of my highly recommended venues to my upcoming couples. The Mission Inn is literally a national historic landmark and incredibly stunning visually! It’s like being in Italy or Spain but without the plane ride. We had the pleasure of photographing Ella and Alan for their pre-wedding bridal portrait session for 2 days. Day one was here in Riverside, day 2 will be at Victoria Beach and Laguna Beach down in Orange County. Stay tuned for part 2 🙂
